Our purchase of Phoenix as a two-year-old was totally unplanned. We hauled our trailer to Idaho to pick up a colt we were buying, stopped to visit a friend at another farm, and came home with two horses instead of one. At the time, Phoenix was coming two with very little human handling. We were immediately impressed by his gentle nature. Within a few days, he was as gentle as a pet pony. Phoenix inherited that wonderful disposition from his sire, Tomahawk, and passes it to his offspring. In addition, Phoenix possesses good looks, a good mind, and a willingness to try anything. He is correct and straight, with very nice bone. This 2002 bay stallion is a Khemosabi grandson, but that is only the beginning. His pedigree is full of stars. Though we have not actively promoted Phoenix for outside mares, he is available for stud service, live cover only. Please inquire for introductory rates.
